Leon Y. Tuan - Partner
Leon Y. Tuan is a Partner in Stein & Lubin’s Real Estate, Business and Finance and Workouts Practice Groups. He specializes in a wide range of commercial real estate, finance and general business transactions.
In the commercial real estate area, Mr. Tuan represents investors, developers, landlords and tenants in buying, selling, developing, leasing and financing a wide variety of properties, including office buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes, industrial properties and mixed-use projects. In the real estate finance area, Mr. Tuan represents institutional and private lenders in originating acquisition, construction and permanent loans, and also advises lenders and borrowers in loan restructurings and loan workouts. In the business area, Mr. Tuan represents individuals and small and mid-size companies in general business transactions and business disputes, such as forming and counseling business entities and advising companies across a broad spectrum of business issues, including trade secrets, employment matters and shareholder and partner disputes.
Mr. Tuan has frequently lectured on real estate leasing and finance issues, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Tuan also worked in public accounting and has earned a Certified Public Accountant license. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation.
