Representative Matters

• Represented the seller in the sale of an apartment complex in the North bay for approximately $100 million and the subsequent exchange and purchase of three industrial properties. The transaction involved the defeasance of a CMBS loan encumbering the property sold and new financing for the properties purchased.
• Represented the buyer in the purchase of a street alley from the City of San Francisco and the landlord in the amendment of an office lease with the City totaling over 150,000 square feet as part of a transformation of two office buildings into a mixed use project.
• Represented the lender in making an approximately $55 million construction loan on the mixed use project at 150 Powell, San Francisco (the H&M retail store in Union Square).
• Represented one of the largest REITs in the purchase of 19 properties in the North Bay area for approximately $213 million. The transaction involved the negotiation of the assumption of seven CMBS loans with three different servicers.
• Represented the sponsor in a joint venture for the acquisition and development of a large multi-family complex in Oregon.
