Daniel K. Slaughter is Of Counsel in Stein & Lubin’s Litigation Practice Group. He specializes in business, real estate, unfair competition, and consumer and product liability class action matters.
Mr. Slaughter is a recognized expert in California's Unfair Competition Law (“UCL”) (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17200, et seq.) and Consumers Legal Remedies Act (“CLRA”) (Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1750, et seq.). He authored and continues to provide supplements to the California section of the American Bar Association’s Consumer Protection Law Developments treatise and periodically publishes articles on these topics. Mr. Slaughter's experience also includes litigation in a wide range of other areas including real estate, trade secrets, defamation, contract disputes, Lanham Act claims, partition, antitrust, false advertising, hotel management, financial privacy, securities, corporate governance and accountants' liability.
Before joining Stein & Lubin, Mr. Slaughter practiced with Heller Ehrman LLP in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
