Daniel J. Barry is a Partner in Stein & Lubin’s Real Estate Practice Group.  He specializes in real estate leasing, acquisitions and dispositions covering all aspects of the development of real property and land use.

Mr. Barry has extensive experience in shopping center and retail development throughout the Western United States, having worked on hundreds of projects, and in addition has worked on significant real estate financing transactions and land use matters in California.  Prior to joining Stein & Lubin, Mr. Barry practiced with Baker & McKenzie and Steefel, Levitt & Weiss in San Francisco.  Mr. Barry previously served as Assistant Land Use Counsel for the Boston Redevelopment Authority, where he was primarily responsible for the re-drafting of the Boston Zoning Code, and as a consultant to a number of government agencies and the United Nations concerning land use matters.
