Patricia Ashley is Of Counsel to the firm and is a member of the firm's real estate practice group. Ms. Ashley's practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. She has extensive experience working with developers and owners of office, industrial, retail and hotel properties through the acquisition, development and management and disposition phases of real property ownership. Ms. Ashley has particular expertise in commercial real property acquisition, disposition, exchange and defeasance transactions.

Ms. Ashley graduated from Stanford University in 1972 with an A.B. in history. She earned her law degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1977, where she was Executive Editor of The Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly.

Representative Matters

• Represented Seller and its affiliates in connection with the sale of a portfolio of Northern California office properties valued in excess of $250 million to Equity Office Properties.

• Represented seller in connection with the sale of the Seattle Design Center and the Seattle Gift Center and the defeasance of the existing loans relating to those properties.

• Represented seller in connection with the sale of the San Francisco Gift Center and the defeasance of the existing loans relating to that property.
